Engine Check Light

Engine Check Light
My car had trouble starting on cold mornings and I was advised to get the throttle body cleaned. I had this done about 2 days ago and now my engine check light is on. Is this normal? If so, about how long does it take for it to return back to normal. It seems to be starting well so far.... I'll see how it does in the morning. Hope it fixed it. The car has 166,000 miles on it so there's no telling what the problem could be.

Could be a Knock Sensor, one of the O2 Sensors, or a bunch of smaller things that don't really mean or really harm/do anything. Hook up the ECU to a scanner to check it out. Mine's on right now, and the first time it went on in the summer it was my O2 Sensor so I changed all of em. The next time it was my KS, after that my car never stalled out in the middle of driving, nor failed to start up. I also cleaned the throttle as well just to do so for the hell of it. However, like I said mine is on right now, but nothing seems to really be wrong so I gotta hook it up to a Scanner some time this week at my friends.

You don't need a scanner, you can check the ECU with a screwdriver.
