LOTS of PICs of My DDE's :))

finally uploaded pics of my DDE's, very happy with this, also cleared the turn signal while i was at it,

install was a piece of cake, not as scary as i thought

P.S. thats a PIAA hyperwhite parking light in there, as you can see it looks totally yellow, it has now been replaced with a 9led bulb, which looks perfect with the dde's

thanks guys

the install took like a day, but i took my time and triple checked that i did everything right, i also used 5 minute epoxy not 90 second epoxy, so i had to wait a bit longer for the epoxy to cure before shoving them back in the oven.

overall it was very easy,

How do most of you guys have these things hooked up? To run with the parking lights or by themselves?

congrats on the dde's. imo it's one of the best aesthetic mods for 5.5 gen.

mine are wired to their own switch so i can turn them on and off as i like with or without the park lights on.

If you wire them like that, is there a way to hook them up so that if you leave them on and shut off the ignition, you get a chime with the door open (like if you leave your headlights on (not auto))??? Do you know what I'm talking about?

i got you. mine are wired to a power wire that's only active when the car is on. so i don't have to worry myself about leaving them on accidentally. as soon as i turn the car off the dde's turn off.

And these things are bright enough that you don't have to have your regular headlights on at night??

they're not bright enough to light up the road, but if you're looking at the headlight from straight on it looks like the headlights are on.

Mine is wired independently to it's own switch, but turns off automatically when the key is removed.

looks awesome!!!

i just got my ddes installed and just put 6000k HIDS in my fogs and it looks awesome!!!!

the fog lights dont light up as much as i hoped for by themselves, but they are completly fine if your driving somewhere that has lights...

in the pitch black darkness though, i use my headlights

ill also take some pics of my ddes with foglights

also, AWESOME tutorial to put DDEs in is here:
