anyone see a problem with doing this?
I think I am just going to do a 2.5" straight pipe off my Y pipe and probably go out the passenger side at a 45. Any ill effects from this? Remember my car is a "track only" car.

The sensors themselves don't go in to closed or open loop the ECU does. In closed loop the ECU uses o2 sensors in addition to the MAF and TPS to control A/f and timing. When in open loop, which is anything above about 50% throttle, the ECU only uses MAF and TPS to follow set maps given a particular rpms. So basically, when at the track, o2 sensors play no part. The CEL will come on but this is a track car right? So who cares.
