Brake dust
Alright guys, i searched the forums to see if its already been asked, but didnt find anything... i was just wondering if there is anything i can do to eliminate the brake dust problem on my front wheels, they get so dirty so fast.. i heard something about ceramic brake pads, but those sound expensive, haven't really looked them up.. is there any alternative at all??

Ceramics aren't that expensive. Hell I've bought regular brake pads that cost more than ceramics. You can find a very decent brand of ceramics for around $30-$40 bucks depending on where you shop. Look around Ebay and your local auto parts stores. But like mzmtg said, waxing them does make it easier for cleanup and appearance.

If you haven't painted your calipers or anything like that, you might also get dust shields. They cover everything up so the dust can't really make it to the outside surface of the wheel.
They'll keep your wheels clean but the down side is you won't be able to see the calipers anymore. It'll look like 4 big drum brakes instead of disk.
