I'm hit, and pissed.

I was pulling out of my drive way (Driving forwards, not backing out), and some one hit me before I even got on the streest. Are you kidding me!

The other card was ALL busted on the front and sides, my MAX had the fron bumper all scratched up. I'm pissed, now I have to take it to the shop.
I can still drive it, the bumper didn't even break, just got completely scratched on the whole front. How in the world did I get hit on the front when I wasn't even on the street, that makes no sense to me.

Careful. If you are pulling out, you might not have had the right of way

Yeah, I know that usually the person on the main street has the right away. But in my case, it's NOT like I hit the other car on the side, I was STOPPED and I was not yet in the main street when I got hit on the front of my bumper with the front-right-side of her bumper. In a way, her front ran into me. And I just don't get it, if she was just going straight, she would have gone by normally. I know it's going to be though for the insurance to fight this one out just because she had the right away, but I was not even on the main street, that's what sucks. When the person came out of their car, they were like "ohhh is it my fault", I didn't want to be a D-ck so I said "I don't know".

im probably as confused as the guy who got his car hit, but from what im reading it looks like its his fault, unless the lady jumped the curb if u pulled out into the flow of traffic even though u werent all the way out id guess it was your fault still.... but hey im no lawyer

When the insurance investigates and finds no tire tracks on the curve/yard its his fault no matter what actually happened. Unless she claims that she can't drive and accidently jumped off the road and hit your car.

It is his fault. This is why, if hes in the main street and got hit he violated her right away. . He says that he wasnt on it yet then that means she had to literaly drive up in to his drive way to hit him. I mean that means she was really really close to the sidewalk. Something isnt lining up right here.

you should carry a camera with you, one of those portable one time use ones, digital camera, camera phone, or whatever to take lots of pics of scene of accident. i do that in case anything happens, whether it be a parking ticket or something more serious, things may come out in your favor sometimes

So you bumped a 4 year old thread and asked a question that has nothing to do with the subject at hand. Brilliant, just brilliant.

There you go Start there and also use the free search here!
