I thought I'd finally share a tid bit of info with my fellow orgers. When I had my 96 Max I test fit a rear strut bar in my car. It looks and fits just like a Courtesy RSTB. Still want one? Well here's what you do. Buy front and rear strut bars for a 95-99 Sentra/200sx, chassis B14. I bought mine off Ebay a while back, and they still have them. You are going to use parts off each bar to make a 'custom' bar. Use the front bar (chrome part) with the rear mounts (black parts) and thats it. I know its more for show, but hey I'm sure it helps stiffen the rear up a bit. The 2 bars go for about $42 shipped, which is way cheaper than the Stillen RSTB, which I belive is the only rear bar still available. Here is a picture of the one I had.
Go nutts and have fun.

I had the FSTB RSTB and RSB all with intrax springs. One day I took all the bars off and the car handled like crap. The body roll on the highway was just horrible. I dont think the RSTB does anything noticable under normal driving but I am willing to bet that under real agressive driving it helps. You can never have too stiff of a chassis so any bit helps.

Update: I bought a 5th gen RSTB and well it didnt fit, not surprising. But I did manage to MAKE it fit . I had to drill a hole in each of the end brakets and bend them a bit. I would like to combine this straight bar with the end brakets that acctually fit. For now I can live with this:

All installed:

Why don't you just fab up a bracket to fit? Simple, grind off the part you drilled through. Weld on a piece of flat stock. Use a 2" or 2.5" hole saw to make it fit around the strut mount ring. Drill the correct holes. Make the outside of the flat stock round using a grinder or something else and your done. It took me more time to write this than it would to make it.
