Ok i think i finally found the rims i want. they are 18 x 8.5 ADR Sterling in Silver.

whats your opinion?

And will these fit without rubbing since they are 1.5 inches wider then stock, and will i have to get any additional "equipment"?

P.S. i know these are not the best quality rims, but again i dont feel like spending $400 per rim. this is just a replacement of the stock ones.

Thanks

thats what the service guy told me, and total for package with kinda ****ty tires Kumho 711 (225/40/18) is $1059 with shipping/mounting/bolts and they even say they give free arospeed springs which look a lot like maxspeeds and they have free rim repair.

i asked the guy what the package would be with Falken 512's he said he doesnt know right now but to call back tomorrow, he said it shouldnt be a big diff.

so im pretty excited so far

If the offset is higher the wheels sit more flush with the bodyside or what?

Man they must be desperate for business. Giving out free springs too?

Lower the offset, further wheels stick out.

no no no. 25 is way too extreme. They will stick out way too much. If you can try to get them in offset around 40, give or take few

People recommend at least 8" wide rims but you can go w/ 7.5". Stock wheels are 7" wide so it's all good

I think the site is www.wheelsnext.com Anyone try arospeed springs yet? I wouldn't want IgS to get stuck with crappy springs.

225/40's are like rubber bands. Go with a 245/40 instead to put more tread on the road, and more sidewall to protect the rims more. Plus your speedometer will be off less.
