Wiring Diagram for '05

Diagram for '05, but should be same for '04 and maybe '06. Source of diagram is good. However...

Attempt at your own risk.

Nissan Maxima 2005
12volts green (40A) + ignition harness
Starter black/red + ignition harness
Second Starter black/yellow + ignition harness
Ignition black/red + ignition harness
Accessory red + ignition harness
Second Accessory white/blue + ignition harness
Keysense black/red + ignition harness or
BCM, pin 37
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Power Lock blue or pink/blue - driver door module in
door
Notes: Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder.
Power Unlock red (double pulse) - driver door module in
door
Notes: Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder.
Lock Motor gray 5wi BCM, pin 50
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Unlock Motor green 5wi BCM, pin 44
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Disarm Defeat green/yellow 5wi BCM, pin 51
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Parking Lights+ red/blue + driver kick, harness to
rear
Parking Lights- N/A
Hazards green/red - BCM, pin 29
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Turn Signal(L) green/black + BCM, pin 45
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Turn Signal(R) green/yellow + BCM, pin 46
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Headlight blue (L), red/yellow (R) + IPDM E/R, pins 30 and
20
Notes: The IPDM E/R (Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room) is behind the
passenger side headlight. All the wires are in a gray 16 pin plug.
Reverse Light green/white + driver kick, harness to
rear
Door Trigger see notes - BCM
Notes: The LF door is lt. blue in pin 62, the RF door is brown/white in pin 12, the LR door is
red/black in pin 63, and the RR door is blue/red in pin 13. Use all four wires and diode isolate each.
The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Dome Supervision red - BCM, pin 48
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Trunk/Hatch Pin purple/white - BCM, pin 57
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box.
Hood Pin N/A
Trunk/Hatch Release blue or blue/white - BCM, pin 30
Notes: The BCM (Body Control Module) is between the steering column and the fuse box. The fuel
door release is green in the driver kick, in the harness to the rear. It is a high current negative wire.
Power Sliding Door N/A
Factory Alarm Arm arms with lock
Factory Alarm Disarm disarms with unlock
Disarm No Unlock single pulse power

Tachometer NOT red or black ac any ignition coil or fuel
injector
Wait to start N/A
Speed Sense green or brown 8P Unified Meter and A/C
Amp, pin 26
Notes: The Unified Meter and A/C Amp is the first module below the display in the dash.
Brake Wire red/green + brake pedal switch
Parking Brake pink/black - parking brake switch
Horn Trigger green/white - horn switch
Wipers blue (L), blue/black (H) + IPDM E/R, pins 21 and
31

Notes: Extended triggers on the lock/unlock wires will roll the windows up/down. Use validity
channels to control.

Radio 12v yellow + radio harness
Radio Ground (chassis)
Radio Ignition purple + radio harness

Factory Amp Turn-on green/white + radio harness
Power Antenna green/white + radio harness
LF Speaker +/- white - black +,- radio harness
Notes: The BOSE speaker amp is under the rear deck. The speaker wiring at the amplifier is: LF
blue/white - blue/black, RF white/black - green/black, LR green/yellow - blue/yellow, and RR blue -
red.
RF Speaker +/- yellow - brown +,- radio harness
LR Speaker +/- green/yellow -
black/yellow
+,- radio harness
RR Speaker +/- blue - red +,- radio harness
Immobilizer Bypass

Notes: Standard on all models.

Hey, here's another tip to add to that wiring diagram up top. When doing remote start use the factory rearm wire from the remote start to trigger a relay to pulse the door trigger wire. This will shut off your lights if you have it on auto mode. You also have must wire the relay to split the door trigger wire if you have an alarm/remote start combo.
