Clear corners on their way. Now, what bulbs?

Clear corners on their way. Now, what bulbs?
Had a thread a while back trying to help me decide if I really wanted to do all clears or not. I decided to go ahead and do front and back both. Now, in this discussion we spoke of bulbs. The LED option sounded good for good quality color (less bleeding of the amber/red). So...
What brand LED bulbs are best for the money?
Who sells at the best prices?
Should I go white LED for front corners or amber led?
And, can anyone post pics of their clears with leds?
Thanks guys!

I also have a Glacier Pearl. I went with Clear's all around. I like the clears on the white car during the day. I liked having red bulbs in the rear markers, IMO the white rear markers look out of place with the red tail lights(as well as illegal) at night. I currently have 6 LED red 194 bulbs in the rear and stock in the front. I plan on switching the front to Polarg M4's in the very near future. The stock bulbs in the front look yellow comparied to the Polarg M4's in my clearence lights(as well as my HID's and plasma fogs). I bougth the Red LED's on Ebay for like $12 a set, IMO they were well worth it. They almost exactly match the red color of the tail lights, and emmit enought light to completely light up the marker. I'll post back later with the companies info as I don't have it with me right now. I believe they are the only one selling the 6 LED 194 bulbs. I'm not sure what the 4 LED's look like, but the single LED's suck, and the red glass bulbs have a low light output and look pink in the clears. I can send you some pic's if you give me your email address.

well whatever color you go with don't get the LEDs.
I ordered a set for when i bought my clears and the light they put out was horrible compared to regular bulbs. plus they were pretty expensive. the best bulbs i have found for amber, red are the cheapies from the parts store. plus with the clears you can't see the bulb when it is not lit anyway.

To everyone else that posted, I think I will try the seven LED reds in the back. I assumed the single red LED would be too weak. I will go check the auto places here in town today for some of those 7 leds. I have two spare Palargs that I bought for as replacements for my front clearance lights, I will put those up front.
Jessefrank, my email addy is Jettmiester@yahoo.com. I will be looking forward to the pics! Thanks so much.

I ordered 6 led Amber and 6 led Red bulbs from autolumination.com. Should arrive any day now. Cost me $22 including shipping for the 4 bulbs. I saw a pic of the red single bulb led and they look red not pink like the ones from Autozone, so I'm hoping the 6 led look good too.

leds are nice, especially if you end up going with yellow and red, so you don't see the color of the bulb through the clear corner during the day, so you only see color when they're on. though i have "white" leds which came out pretty damn blue, but i like them and no trouble at all in my area, was even pulled over by a cop for speeding reasons...and didn't mension anything about my lights, even my bright a$$ white rear hazards that i had to have on when pulled over

I will seal these as per what I have read about these with a clear silcone to prevent condensation and moisture penetration.
The more I think about the laws, I will go with Amber LEDs up front and Red LEDs in back.
Thanks again.

I'm ok with clear corners, especially on white cars, as long as they look close to stcok at night.
white/xenon headlights, amber turn signals & front parking lights, red rear lights & rear parking lights. Anything else is tacky and ricey, IMHO.

I have hyperwhite polargs in mine and they look awesome. A bunch of people have complimented me on them. Had them for about a month and never had any problems. I will take some pics tomorrow at some point.

Why are sides in the rear having white be illegal?
I installed those POS EUROLIGHT 2 LED 194 bulbs, and both of them fukked up.
AFter 3 weeks, instead of staying constantly on, they started FLICKERING like strobes!

I had the polargs in mine for almost a year and never got pulled over.
I just put the 9 LED "super white" in (which look blue) about 2 weeks ago and have driven by 3 cops really close in town, and haven't gotten pulled over.
They look really nice though and gladly ditched my polargs that after a month or two lost their "hid" color.
