Who said that every mustang gt runs 13.8's. The GT definitley has the advantage, but it's definitley possible. Plus how do we know what year it is? If its the last generation, then the max has a slight advantage.

I do, and I have a video of me and my Mustang buddies doing it ('00 GT dead stock, removed spare and jack). If you know how to drive, they'll hit high 13.8's and low 13.9's all day long. This goes for any '99+ T5 Mustang GT...

EDIT- I always forget to take into account other peoples elevation. That plays a huge factor in N/A cars...

The current Sentras are nice for compact cars. They do what they are designed to do and do it at a relatively low price. Like the Maxima, you get a lot of bang for the buck, which is why I got the SE-R to add to my little Nissan family. It is a lot of fun to drive with good kick. I'm not saying it's the fasting pocket rocket on the block, but it always brings a smile to my face nonetheless.

The car is hardly a POS, but it shouldn't be compared with or even raced with a Maxima. Different class of car. One is an apple, the other is an orange. You simply cannot compare the two.

Peace.

Car and Driver said it best "You never forget that it's a cheap car with a big motor"

I know that our maximas kill the se-R on quarters, but I was curious as how they do against other cars in its price range on the race track?

Well, considering what the new Neon is capable of I would think it would not do all that well.

The GT mustang maybe fast, but the Maxima looks a hell of a lot better!

I agree with that statement (3rd, 4th, and 5th Gens look better than a current stang). But that all changes for me in 2005. The Mustang looks totally hot for the 2005 model (like the older ones, 68-71 Mach 1 and such).
