My last post?? Got a new car (non-Maxima), selling a few mods, thanks for the help
After nearly 10 years of Maxima ownership (first a '91 SE 5 speed, then a '95 SE 5 speed), I am taking her to Carmax in the morning to be sold. As I was pulling the few mods I had made off the car today a few things hit me.
1--selling this car will actually be hard to do
2--it must have known I was going to sell it. It barely started and once it did it ran like an old disel for a solid minute. One of the hub bolts broke off while trying to take the aftermarket wheels off.
3--this forum rocks! I have been searching for forums for my new car and none have even come close to the completeness this one has. I've been searching for hours just to find out the size of my stock speakers in the new car. Argh!
To end this philosophical BS rant, I will be selling a few things off the car (although that's not the purpose of this post--please don't move it to classifieds). The main items of interest will probably be grey Homelink visors, an auto-dimming mirror from an I30, and 17" wheels from a 350z with stock Bridgestone Potenzas in place. They made the handling sweet!!
Anyway, thanks again for all of your help over the last several years. You guys will be missed.

My main reason for posting here is to say thanks and see you all later.
The few items I mentioned I put there because I know how much I wanted them and thought others might too. More an afterthought than anything. They will hopefully go on ebay.

yeah i looooooove it. has 355/35/18's on the rear, a sweet deep sound, and lots of goodies. it's a different beast from the VQ but still a great 6 cylinder engine.
i took the Maxima to carmax this morning and got $1700 for my '95 black/black SE with 175k miles on it. no leather or auto climate but had everything else. i felt like i was getting raped, but most dealers offered $700-800 on trade!!!! wtf??!!
anyhow, i really felt more like i was putting my dog to sleep than selling my car. crazy...

you would think that after so many years u would stick 2 a maxima lol. me personaly i love maximas 2 much 2 get anything diffrent ive had a 89 91 93 and now i have a 95 se and soon i will hope 2 move on 2 a 5th gen but best of luck man. cuse wen i sell mine i will atleast have the peace of mind that im still gonna drive a MAXIMA.
