This is from a thread a while back. its my mini writeup on doing it yourself cuz the motorvate walkthrough is so ****ty.
here you go:

couldnt believe the amount of pull my car had after the new one was installed. this may sound crazy, but it even sounds stronger - has a deeper noise when you gas it.

i figured i would provide some additional pictures; kind of a step by step more than whats on motorvate.ca. frankly the pictures on there are not great and leave a lot of room for questions.

what it should look like standing on the drivers side.

this is the old one as seen from the same vantage point (close up of where the green arrow is pointing to)

then it helps to have a hot neighbor who is willing to trade her time for a meal at dennys.

this is the old one still connected to the harness. i figured there would be two wires connecting to it because there are openings for two, but apparently there is only one.

and the finished product.....took about 30 minutes (about 10 of that was trying to loosen the bolt for the first time).

and watch out for this little plastic tooth, i broke mine off cuz i was too harsh with it. just becareful and remove the U pin gently

get a small girl or child, they will be able to get their hand in there no problem.

she used the 5 inch ratchet with either 12mm or 10mm socket. i forget which.

initially the nut was very stuck, so she got the wrench on the nut and i pryed the wrench using the manifold as an anchor point. that was the hardest part.

i just had mine replaced. Took us a while, like 40 - 50 min cause i had a weird setup, therefore stuff was in the way. I feel a better pick up, and apparently it gets your car to be a .5 second faster on the track.
