BlehmCo Rear BBK!

BlehmCo Rear BBK!
What am I talking about?
How about this:
http://blehmco.com/rear_kit.htm
Z32 300ZX rear rotor and calipers AND a custom-fabricated parking brake that will keep you street legal- unlike trying to run line locks or other stuff that relies on the hydraulic system. This mates extremely well to my front BlehmCo BBK to give you near-stock bias and braking that will yank your eyeballs out of their sockets when you step on that middle pedal!
As many of you guys know, I no longer 'stock' these kits simply due to the fact they don't sell quick enough to make it worth my efforts. I am, however, willing to make a batch of them if people are willing to pay up front.
I will need TEN ORDERS minimum PREPAID before I'll consider doing another batch. there's just so much time and not enough money in these to make it worth my while. If I get 20 orders, then great! but I need at least ten to start.
To make it easier on the guys that are willing to pay and wait, I'll let you put down 1/2 price up front and the other half will be payable when the finished product is ready to ship.
Due to the increases in fabrication and parts costs, the price for the kit will be $750 + shipping. that'll come out to about $775 total for everyone in the main 48.
I have two kits paid already and waiting, so there's a head start for you guys.
Get me ten people total and we'll deal!

Correct.
I've handed BlehmCo over to my parents for now. They needed a situation where they could work from home and the timing was right. So they're taking it over for the time being and we'll see what happens from there.
I'm hanging around for tech support, new product design, and generally being a loudmouth on the forums to drum up interest. Sales, production, shipping, and receiving all will go to them- which is the meat of the business.
So basically I get to play and build new stuff when I have time and they get to do the work and make the money. It's a win-win.
We'll be glad to make you a package deal on a front BBK as well, but for now my main interest in this thread is gauging interest in the rear BBKs. (we have a huge shipment of brackets being worked on now and they'll be ready in a few weeks. when they are, I'll do a GD on them as well.)

Not unless you want to pay extra for me to go to Oreilly's and buy reman calipers for you.
I'd prefer to let people source their own rotors and calipers. more stuff for me to handle and it just raises the overall price from me and less margin at the end of the day. you can pick up rotors from Automax or ImportRP and ebay for calipers cheaper than I could buy them myself...

Second the 3rd gen question, do they fit? Also, what exactly does $750 get you? Seems like a lot if that doesn't include calipers and rotors.
One more thing, I bought Jeff's rear BBK brackets a while ago. Would those work with what you offer and/or the rear Z32 calipers? Thanks.

they don't work at all on a 3 gen. just the 4 and 5.
The high price is because of all the fab work necessary to build the parking brake mechanism. this isn't just a caliper relocation bracket like the fronts. try finding an aftermarket parking brake that works worth a damn and doesn't cost $1000.
Solutions for the 6 gens may be coming soon. I need a guinea pig in the Houston area to try something.

If the 6th gen rear axle is set up the way I think it is, the rear BBK for the 6 gen should be considerably cheaper than the 4/5 gen. too bad you paid way too much for the car to begin with tho.
but I'll need to get a car in Houston to test. once I have a car to work on and do some test fitting, I'll make conclusions on the 6th gen then (and only then).

404: Relevance not found... (you have no idea how much was paid for it though...)
Get er' done!

those are stock Z32 rotors.
putting 13" rotors on the back would be stupid. sure they're big, but it ruins your brake bias and is unsafe.... unless you install $1000 worth of other crap and custom-sized calipers to make it work.

This deal currently is only for the 4/5 gen cars because I know they fit. That's where all of the money is on the custom parts and what I'd need to have 10 min on. The 6th gen is a completely different setup and will require a different kit- and different parts.
Once I get the 4/5 gen started, the 6th gen should be an addition to the list, since they only need one of the 4 custom-machined parts. hopefully even that will be the same as the 4/5 gens, but I'm not going to say that's true until I get my hands on a 6th gen and try the fittment myself.
So for now, the 6th gens just need to sit and watch, and I'll get to you when I can.

I haven't had time to do anything about it yet. all my time is currently spent either at work (I'm surfing on the clock... shoot me. ) or working on my house..
98whitemax, the price listed on my website is $720, but that's the price of the last batch I had made, three years ago. fabrication and material costs have tripled since then thanks to the Chinese buying up all the steel and driving prices sky high..

Hmmmmmm
I already have the front 300ZX calipers, rotors, pads, and master cylinder sitting in the basement waiting for better weather.
Will this rear kit work ok with the front 300ZX calipers and milled down 300ZX rotors? If it moves a little bias to the rear I can always get more aggresive pads on the front 300ZX calipers.
I've exceeded the stock 4th gen brake capability on the local road courses here and have been waiting all winter to upgrade to larger brakes for this season. The fluid Im using doesn't boil but I get a noticeable fade after 6~7 hard laps using the NT01s.
