NEW MODS

Infiniti G35 18" wheels (not on car yet, youve seen one, youve seen em all)
Stillen lip kit (not on car yet, youve seen one, youve seen em all)
Black housing euro headlights (infiniti fx35 bi xenon HID retrofit)

Pics to come sometime soon. I need to get new tires and paint the car (after i shave the inner trunk light)

These are the retrofit progress pics. Iam using the stock housing and will just paint them black and use the clear lens on the euros (didnt wanna run a chance of hacking them up for nothing) As you can see in the pics, im toying around with the idea of using oven burner bowls for shrouds.

we need some kind of rule where you can't post about mods unless you include pics. Especially cosmetic things like wheels, body kits, headlights, etc...

Looking good on the headlights. Glad to see someone is actually doing this rather than boasting they can and never have.

+ Keep us posted on your progress!

Cant wait to see those lights on the car, I've been wanting to do something like that with euro lights but so far have just reserved to practicing with the dremel and reading up on bi-xenons.

Is there anything specific reason you chose fx35 lights over any other ones?

interesting shroud, using those burnre bowls....it suprisingly looks pretty good so far. nice work on the retro, and good luck on the rest.

i saw another style g35 wheels the other day, and now i'm hunting. ;x they weren't aftermarket, but they very well could have been off of another infiniti, as they were definately factory looking.

there was a recall on fx and g35 headlights, so a lot of people got the fx's for free. be careful, because these same people are turning around and selling them for a huge profit. less than $50 would be a fair price for them. don't get ripped off and pay $75-100, though.

as far as the retrofit-source...my dealings with him have been professional. he's added freebies to my orders, and if i asked for something extra and he forgot to send them, he'd ship it out on his own dime.

dealing with him on ebay, in my experience has been good. however, DO NOT GO TO HIS FORUMS! it'll crash your computer. there's been talk for some time that he has a keylogger on his site.

don't worry, the projectors are fine. the headlights, themselves, weren't DOT compliant.

after buying from him on ebay, i tried to go to his forums to get more info...my computer was slow and my connection was boggy. i read more about him on hidplanet. that's where i read about his keylogger. i don't know for sure if he has one, or if it's him that's actually doing it...
