car drives like CRAP?
hey whats up yea'll
well for the past 3 days i've been driving my maxima, since it's been sitting for like 2months*rockin my winter beater*. so its been drivng like CRAP liek when i get up on it, it starts to LAG like its about of gas. and i got a SEL so i check'd it and it said "random misfire" i did a full tune up before i let it sit (except coil's) but my ? is that do yea'll think that its my coil????? but it wasnt liek that after i did my tune up, could it be like a common thing out there???? thanks in advance to all...

I am facing the same problem.
DOes your car have clean gas ? Maxi's fuel injectors are worst in world, they clogg so easily.
DO the following
1) Replace your old gas
2) Put in chevron techryon and new gas and drive at highway speed (> 80mph)
3) if car still roughits probably ign wires or some senor
4) I would check wiring of TPS & TPS it self (its easy to check)
In my case I found TPS was bad but no code, may be it was at last stage of its life so no code.

I don't have permission to start a new thread, So I am posting it here hoping some one could answer
My 95 maxima GLE, seems to have brain of its own
1) Engine rpm changes by it self without me giving any gas or applying breaks.
2) Car sometimes dies after it coming to stop
3) In neutral Car cannot go above 2500 RPM.
4) I have TPS bad & Knoc sensor codes, changing tps did not helped
Any help is really appriciated.

Thanks, MAF area is the problem, Probably MAFi s going.
I am wondering if I can fit MAF from other nissan models in 4th gen. New MAF is very pricy, But I can get old one from 240 or ser for like 10bucks.
Does anyone know about other models MAF which can fit 4th gen without burning a hole in pocket.
