5.5 Gen Maxima TV Commercials - For Your Viewing Pleasure

I apologize if these have been posted before. Here are two 5.5 gen TV commercials.

I don't remember ever seeing this grim reaper themed one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPdpm...a%20commercial

This "Paint Peeling" one is one of my all time favorite commercials:
http://www.darnellworks.com/a52/media/maxima.mov

And even though it's not 5th gen related here is a really good 4th gen commercial which according to the description is from the 1997 Super Bowl:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hma4W...a%20commercial

Also I've been looking for a Pathfinder commercial from around 2000/2001 where a bunch of people are playing Polo with their pathfinders and The WHO song Baba OReilly is playing in the background. If anyone knows where I can find that please let me know. Thanks!!

the cars were more sporty. i think the new commercials are meant to appeal more to the older crowd and people who arent so caring of speed.

HAHA...that old guy & the dog remind me of the zoom zoom kid in those Mazda commercials. They'd just randomly appear at the end, but make you laugh & feel all happy inside.

The reaper one was my favorite... until I saw the paint peeling one. That is awesome, mostly because it's black and I'm gonna show people so they think my car is really fast and has cheap paint. One out of two isn't bad.

Same effect, but the old guy and the dog were first. I miss all of the early-to-mid 90s Nissan commercials. Nothing's better than using Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone" for the Maxima!

Some of the 6th gen commercials were good, too.

Remember the one where the guy was jogging and leans up against a parked Maxima, getting visions of racing? Amazed, he reaches out to touch a poster of a woman, but is disappointed he doesn't get visions of her.

Or the one when the couple comes back to her house after a date and he leans on the trunk of her Maxima...he gets visions of racing it...she slaps his hand away from it and smiles, "Not on the first date."

Just watching these made my day....Nissan needs to get back to this type of creativity, when i think about creativity in commercials nowdays I've got to give it to VW and their new ad campaigns for their entire line us. From the Touareg blowing thru snow last year, to the my fast and rabbit ones this year.

Yeah, it's the only thing they've got going for them. I admire VW's creativity, they could sell tubs of p00p to the public as long it has one of their cute advertising campaigns.

I have that commercial somewhere on VHS. I have to look for it but I know I have it. I use to work for an ad agency and we had the Nissan account until corporate restructure in 2003. Seeing all these commercials brings back great memories!
