CF Radiator Cooling Panels

SOLD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to get rid of some old stock. I purchased these from a company that has gone out of business. I will however consider getting them produced again if there is interest (since I have the template)

Carbon Fiber Radiator Cooling Panels for 1997-1999 Maxima ONLY. This will also fit those with a 97+ front conversion. The product will aid in providing more cooling to your radiator because the air will be concentrated in that region instead of blowing upwards. It will also add a nice cosmetic appearance to your engine bay.

$45 dollars shipped. Payment via paypal to larriomotors@yahoo.com

The package will come with 1 pre-drilled radiator shroud and plastic push clips. All you have to do is center the cooling panel with the hood latch, and mark the 5 holes. Then use a 7/32 drill bit to make the holes, and push in the included clips.

You're getting closer... Have any closeups? Thanks in advance.

Are you going to Stillen day by chance? Maybe I could pay now and pick it up then?

I don't have a camera on me, will need more time. I will be at the U.S. Sport Car invitational (Laguna Seca Raceway) to support a sponsored car during Stillen Day, so I cannot make it. We can always make arrangements for pick up if you are in town. If I ship it, it will probably reach you by Friday

KabirUTA13: I am still working on the piece for my vehicle. It is still in the works because its not just a simple flat piece

TJ_Max: payment received, thank you sir. Product should be shipping tomorrow morning.

Thanks. BTW, this is a fancy little nickname you gave em. They were just called radiator shrouds now. LOL. I like "cooling panels" better. Even though they really don't help cool anything. Or am I mistaken in some weird way? LOL.

Cool. There's a Nissan car show on Sunday that I'm attending. It would be nice to have this by then Tell me this, does the weave go in the same direction as spark plug cover? How well does it match the spark plug cover? Nice clearcoat I assume?

I think you're being to particular about it, lol. I've owned this before. The CF is a little different from everything else CF. It is much flatter and has a sort of glossy finish to it. I had this and mine was ruined during an accident a long time ago. Just buy it for the $45 because you aren't getting it anywhere else, and not this cheap. It's a nice impressive piece and it's made with real CF weave.

Its not a nick-name

Of course they help cooling. Just because it is an immeasurable quantity doesn't mean it isn't working. But in all serious-ness, the OBD-II shows that the coolant temperature is lower with the shroud.

EDIT:

Mr. Wizard: I believe there is no clearcoat on the piece. It was a properly made piece of carbon fiber produced from a high quality mold. Your engine cover looks like a twill weave (diagonal), whereas this is a plain weave (straight). I doubt most people would notice the difference. Also, your engine cover looks to be coated in a heavy layer of clearcoat... so I don't think the difference would be apparent

From a marketing stand point, you should. Btw, I'm interested in one of your products. Any chance of purchasing a few at a bulk price? Are you the owner of the site?

No worries, if I get enough requests I will source a manufacturer to produce these.

consider this a request. What about a non-carbon fiber one for those of us who don't have any on our car? Maybe an frp (fiber re-inforced plastic) that could be painted to match????
