Ok...?

Seriously though, I don't ever remember people rushing out and buying these for their Max's.

I've been here longer than you have...I think I have more history to look back on than you do

Trust me, if you were a 16-year-old on the .Org, you'd know how I feel. I get absolutely 0 respect just because of my age and *******es like nismomax98 don't make things any easier on me.

It's all good bro. I've read some of your posts, and I tell you - you sound a lot more mature than 1/3 of the people here. No hard feelings.

Another pointless thread. These have been on ebay for months now and there is a set for sale almost everyday. This isn't a find cause they aren't rare.

Another photo. I bought them because at the time tey were $100 less than than they are now,(last September and shipped mind you!) and I also had the factory diffused headlights because my Max is a 96'. It was a no brainer for me. I needed to update the old lights anyway.

So they fit a 96? Did you have to do any modding? Or they just fit right in? Because I like them they look nice.

Wow, I've never actually seen a picture of them on a Max before. I like them. Especially because I have a '95 and I hate my headlights

The headlights fit fine. The corner lamps are a little more of a challenge. It took some patience, but they fit into place.

Yeah, I hated mine to. The light output on these is sssooooo much better. I had to reaim the headlights lower than I usually had them because they were to bright. It really cleans up the lok of the front end as well IMO.

QUESTION: Where can a get a clearer-looking headlight for a 95/96 that doesn't cost me $290 (that's with the $30 shipping shown - ouch!). That's way overpriced.

You can upgrade to 97-99 headlights. They look better.

Hey Bro! Don't tell everyone , I'm having a hard enough time getting that DS 97-99 headlight as you know! Used stock 97-99 headlights are a lot cheaper than that route but wow they sure look nice!!! expensive though

Yeah, I've noticed the 97-99 headlights are much clearer and cleaner looking.

Are they a direct-fit replacement with the 95/96's? Or do they require a little tinkering (i.e. drilling new holes, shaving down plastic, or whatever).

because 95-96 are glass and they look like shiet 97-99 are plastic and look clean not foggy
on my 98 when the headlights get dull i use plastic-x from maguires(cant spell) to clean them up works really good dont know if it would work on the glass also

i used to have 97-99 headlights on my 96 and they loooked way better than the 95-96, i hated that cloudy look and looks very dated, if you do upgrade your 95 or 96, then do get the 97-99 headlights with the corners, if your like me, then upgrade to the cefiro headlights which look better than the 95-99 headlights, they do require some custom work before they'll fit.

Agreed... I would much rather have cefiro's if I'm going to spend anywhere near that much for headlights.

you guys are nutts, they are just looks, and they look stock. why waste time on them. they leak, fit not so great, and im sure the beam pattern is lacking also.

same look for $1:

only the 95/96 guys should be considering these..... but they should buy something else.

and while im ranting smoked cefiros suck even more. the worst beam pattern ever!

Agreed. These things are expensive for the improvement they bring. Especially for you 97-99 guys who already have half-decent looking headlights.

By the way, I agree that they look really nice. I just wouldn't even consider paying that kind of cash for them! $100, fine. Over $250, no way.

I will look into getting some 97-99 headlights for my 95. Should be cheap if I get a used pair. Anyone on this forum have a pair sitting in their garage from before they upgraded?
