Sound of Frankencar Intake on 2003 while cruising at 80 mph

Yes you can hear the intake @ 80mph if you are giving throtle- if just cruising
at a set speed you may hear a whistle at the most-
At WOT it is loud as heck (specially if you dont have exhaust)
Being that you have an auto, the tranny will keep your RPM's low if not aggresively giving throtle-

Maybe be a little more specific. At just 80mph, you're not going to hear anything. Now, would you like to know what it sounds like under WOT, or just light acceleration or what? Also, what gear? I have the Injen and there's a huge difference between 3rd at 80 and 6th at 80....

As everyone here has said already, you barely hear the intake at cruising speed. Now if you decide to give it some gas, yes, you will hear it. Now if you go WOT, you can REALLY hear it. My friend actually got scared.

If your worried about noise, dont be. There wont be anything abnormal just cruisin. Find a link to someones frankencar slip and just make a mental note of the sound it makes at 3000 RPMS or so. that'll translate to around 80 mph

When people say they can hear it and it especially screams at WOT, is it a good sound. I like how my 3.0 has that kind of electronic sound, especially at high rps, is this sound louder or...?
