It appears to be with the exception of the sluggish acceleration. I'm wondering if the transmission could be stuck in "limp mode?" From what I've noticed, it looks like its stuck in 3rd gear?

2003 SE auto will not shift into 4th gear

I have a 2003 Maxima SE auto (76k) that doesn't want to shift into 4th gear. It appears to shift through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd without any issue. I tried manually shifting between "D" and "3" and nothing...

With that kind of mileage, it could be a blessing or a curse. However, if you managed to put 430k miles on the original motor, you must have been doing something right.

2003 Maxima SE

2003 Nissan Maxima SE automatic with 70k miles. Everything works and the car runs top notch. I just replaced the radiator about a month ago too.

Upgrades;

~ Axis 19x8.5 rims with 245/35/19's...
