Fixed my clutch!

Folks, I very rarely post on here simply because my car seldom needs something fixed on it. I've owned it since 2007 when it had 88k miles, now with 191k on the clock.

It has always had an issue...

Emergency alternator removal!

Can someone please give a rundown on how to change the alternator on a 2000? All I've found is for the 2001+ and they say to jack the car up and go in from the wheelwell?

Wow. No one mentioned the seasonal fuel pump noise? Perfectly normal for them to start growling once ambient air temps heat up.

BTW it started slipping today. 5th gear at speed, hit the gas and the revs jumped up 1k.

I've got about 140k on my 2000 and the clutch is chattering a bit when I let it out. Still grabs fine though.

Mine does the same thing. Stays on for a long time, then randomly turns off. Previous owner warned me about the famous O2 sensor issue, I just pull the codes every so often to be sure and ignore...

I know, a 5-speed Maxima isn't the ideal tow vehicle. But the car is great on road trips and I'd like to take a small camping trailer out on some of these excursions. It would be less than 1000#.
