Stock shifter trim gone. Not very pretty to look at but new part is $90+ so haven't been able to replace yet....

I made the mistake of not researching before swapping my custom cat back with a guy that had the stock exhaust for a '96 Max..... Now I have -1 o2 sensors and a CEL :(

I get that too, but this is different. It also did this before I put the FW in. I think what you're describing is when you shift and get into the gas too much at low RPMs or let your foot off the gas...

I haven't scanned for codes due to the fact my CEL is on because I dont have a post cat o2 sensor.. I'll check that on saturday as well when I have access to a scanner.

dude, get stone racing mountain(ebay) headers and y-pipe with a (ebay) test pipe. keep the stock muffler/catback. the 02 bungs are there and you wont spend more than $350 total.
