300 is way too much...i believe tires plus in orlando shot me 180 per side when i realized that both of mine were busted. I just went to autozone and got them for about 100 a piece with a 30 dollar...

oil type is not an excuse, but however full synthetic oils make for a better lubricant than conventional and in some instances where gaskets or rings are worn, synthetic oil will actualy leak through...
