no...the exhaust actually retards some of the combustion and the exhaust temp is lower...you can find some interesting dynos of different cars that have done this...a few will show tthe exhaust...

i would not get rid of the egr...u will have higher exhaust temps and worse emissions with no added power....anybody thats states different is wrong

alright guys ...figured it out..it was the connector that te wires pulled out of...they were not in the housing tight enough...car started right up

Im sure Im jumping the gun with this ...I tried starting the max today after finishing the engine install and wont start...it fired for a split second a couple of times then backfired once a little...

almost done....forgot to port the upper intake...

almost done....forgot to port the upper intake manifold..got that done today and engine is in...couldnt find a bung for the egr so I got it straight welded...I think it will work great..Ill take pics...

yep...just bolted mine up and same problem...oh...

yep...just bolted mine up and same problem...oh well ..I am using the old sensor as well and hopefully I wont have any problems...did you grind down the block side at all or just leave it sticking...
