Dome light flickering

I have noticed for a while now when I turn off the car and open the door, the dome light flickers. Also to me the lights on the doors are very dim almost brown color. Any ideas?

You really should have a shop or someone check it out. Things like this are not great for internet diagnosis. I'd imagine you might need a strut, mounts, hub, control arm, tie rod, etc etc etc

What makes you think there is a link between a heater core and an insect invasion. Heater core usually easy to diagnose. Wet floorboards, loss of coolant, sweet smell etc.
