I installed a SONY GT-310 and a Cadence graphic equalizer. The HU sticks out about 1/2" and the equalizer sticks out about 1". :)

There are two wires for power. One for ACC (usually red), one for constant power (usually yellow).

Looks like you forgot to connect the constant power. This line will keep your unit always powered...

The screw of ECU is easy to break, if you are not aware. Using a reader is way clean and easy.

Although the CEL is out, the error code could be stored in the ECU unless you reset it. You should use an OBD II reader to dump the codes.

Or you can do "Out of sight, out of mind" stuff.:)

Go aftermarket HU!!!:)

Just replaced the "CD Err" Blose with a SONY HU. Sound much better than Blose. Though the original Blose is pretty good, the aftermarket one is even better.

The original Blose looks just OK.
