I'd take anything that was a power adder off before taking it in. I could see them saying your cold air kit added 5hp and the transmission was not designed for that and thats why it failed... ugh!

Dodge does the same thing. They require ATF+4 and its a dealer only item. Some places like Amsoil offer ATF+4 compatable fluid but who wants to take that warranty gamble...
