My brother and I tried pressing out the ball joint once and failed. It's a b*tch to do. It was only around $100 for mastercare to do it. Save yourself the headache and time.

Thanks for the advice. That is a quick and cheap check before going the other route. I don't want a car payment either. Bushings are ok as we changed those. Thanks for the suggestions.
