Just wondering when/if you can tell the difference when one should be replaced vice the other. Are there particular noises/knocking you would hear for one and not the other? There is a big cost...

The battery contacts are clean and free from corrosion. I even took the leads off for a minute and put them back on with no luck.

Does anyone think this could be timing-belt related?
