it is a heat shield get some one you trust to put the car in gear and get a rag and touch the heat shield and the noise stops . i took it off and the noise is gone

did you put some fuel in the intake manifold . kind of like primeming a carburator. spelling is off i think:goofy:
your fuel lines are dry thats why it wont start wright a way . prime it a little...

does your car have a power brake booster ? that are usely the symptoms of a power booster going out . as soon as you apply the brakes it suck some vacuum from the manifold and the car starts dying.

just get new part . dont just replace the boots. it takes me about 45 minutes on each side . and thats taking my time. its not too hard .most places charge 70-80 bucks per side ;)
