Even with your non "full stock setup" you shouldn't be overheating. Many of us I'm sure are far more modded and don't have overheating...

I actually was considering doing the V twin...

I actually was considering doing the V twin intakes and routing each one through a hole cut out from bumper. Using electric motors is a good idea, twin electric super chargers.

You will gain little to nothing other then increased noise and smell.
If you want gains, replace the OEM exhaust manifolds.

Having my Emanage setup tuned costs me 650 here in TX.
Other factors come into play as well in regards to the tuners reputation and even your setup.

My MAF cover sprung a leak on the dyno. I used some epoxy and its been good ever since.
You either have a boost leak somewhere, may need to tighten the belt, or possibly the BOV needs adjustment,
