jet chip worth it?

i was just wondering if a jet chip is worth paying $400 for or not.if so why?

sorry son its not a myth i am paying about $1900 to get my engine replaced it has around 35,000 miles on it and you can tell its in very nice shape.if you like you can call the guy who can order...

hey i'm in the same boat i found a subaru dealer that is gonna hook me up with one for less than $1000 with 30,000 miles or less .
i guess in japan they have strict polution laws and your not...
