I don't want any surprises, I take it from these few threads other than a few component switches I.E. exhaust manifold, emissions components maybe a few others it should be a smooth swap.

Should every thing match up? I.E., wiring connections, fuel lines, exhaust manifold, drivetrain.

It mind boggles me too It starts right up and runs smooth with no smokey exhaust until it warms then runs like crap and eventually shuts off.

No exhaust smoke at all. When I fill the radiator the water it ends up in my oil pan after the engine has run for about five minutes. And by the way runs smoothly as if nothings wrong until it warms...
