Only the driver's seat has a tear on the seat cushion bottom. You can't really see it because it is more like a slit but you can put your finger under the slit and see the yellow cushion below.

No smells, that I can think of, I am not a smoker, neither was the last owner I think. Drivers' seat is not that great (don't notice cause you're usually sitting on it) but the rest of the interior...

also don't listen to what ppl tell you look up insurance quotes yourself its really pretty cheap for a 500cc motorcycle even for an 18 yr old plus you'll save money on gas and repairs on maxima plus...
