Just take it to a mechanic, mine charged me about 700, 3 hours of labor, and I guess the compressor, belt, and idler pulley cost about 520 total.. If I had bought it online it would have been cheaper...

Umm.. I'm pretty sure Autzone has the slider pins, and they come with bolts... why not just replace the pins as well.. They're like less than 10 bucks for a pair.

The only thing the knock sensor does is retard the timing.. It will not cause your car to shut off.. Have u tried cleaning TB, IACV, or replacing the ECTS or MAF sensors?

I wouldn't bother trying to install this yourself, you'll probably break the bolts and then have to drive to Midas sounding...

When you take off the IACV, you will see a metal round thing that is held down by 3 screws. Take those off and you will see a lot of dirty black crap in there. I've been having a dropping idle...
