I've had the truck latch stuck many times and the resolution was use the key to open it and release the latch.

But this time, the key won't turn.

Probably need to take to shop that can test the system for leaks with an EVAP/smoke machine.

the whole cannister assembly from jy, I finally changed the purge valve for starters and the check engine light is gone....

OK the old mast wouldn't come out when I powered the radio, so I took out the whole assembly opened it up and uncoil the chain and the trouble is I still can't extract the old mast from the assembly....

I went to the junk yard and the guy asked Mitsubishi or Hanshin.

The parts work differently. Either all Mit or Hanshin or they won't work.

If you had a Mit, change with Mit. Same with Hanshin....
