I usually got 23-24 MPG. I can usually get high 20s on the highway. The best mileage I got was 34 MPG (twice). It was literally all highway.

I had it set at stock 15 deg BTDC. I advanced it to 17-18 deg BTDC and 20 on occasion, but in the end, I set it back to 15 deg BTDC.

With regular unleaded (87), it still ran fine at 17-18 deg...

I parked my Maxima about 3 months ago as well. My RAV4 V6 is my daily driver now.

The Maximima was still reliable at 195,000 miles, but a lot of the seals were beginning to leak oil...

If I lift the hood about 2/3 of the way up, the hood lifts to the end of the travel by itself...
