Fitment was the issue with KYB & Moog. Just not as well as OEM. Also KYB often required the center to be bored out to fit the strut piston. And Moog...

Sounds like the springs are not installed properly. Willing to bet the "OUT" stamp on the spring is not facing outwards.

OP is asking about replacing a head unit, nothing else. The quality of the output from the oem deck will still be crap even with a DSP. You can relax and stop bumping 2 month old threads.

Where are you seeing anything that references data? The Maxima does not use any data signals like CAN-BUS, VAG-COM, etc. All are electrical.
