I would take them to Lowes or Home Depot and use their bolt size finder in the fasteners section. You can get the size, thread pitch, and length.

I've also seen it with a knock sensor...

Might as well look since it is free, but every time one of my cars has misfired it has always been a coil.

To check the coil, just switch it with the coil next to it and see if the misfire moves...
