This. Mine shut off two times in one day a few weeks ago and needed a CPS. Only thing is that I got a code for the CPS (it was the rear cam one).

I would take them to Lowes or Home Depot and use their bolt size finder in the fasteners section. You can get the size, thread pitch, and length.

I had that happen twice in one day last week, but I got the code for the camshaft position sensor (P0340). I replaced that and have had no problem since.

I've also seen it with a knock sensor...

Might as well look since it is free, but every time one of my cars has misfired it has always been a coil.

To check the coil, just switch it with the coil next to it and see if the misfire moves...

I had that on my old BMW and it meant I needed more brake fluid. Mine was on constantly though, no temperature changes.

Seems like a misfire, but I think the car should have a check engine light and codes for that, right? Maybe hook up a code reader just to see if there are any pending codes? I know mine has several...
