Finishing up the interior center console

Got some new tires on I30 recently and started to daily her again and she's running well again. Nothing fancy about the tires, just 225/50 from Walmart. I tried these on my Eclipse on 225/45 and I...

Be careful with the A, B, and C fuzzy pillars. They are extremely fragile as I've actually broken my B and C pillars and had to get replacements from the junkyard. Replaced the B pillars with fuzzy...

Mainly the difference is in ride quality. I've had lowering springs before on a different vehicle and it was super bumpy and uncomfortable to be used on a daily basis. Switching over to coilovers...

Hey everyone! I figured I might as well finally post an update on the I30 since it's been a while.

She's currently parked for the time being. The insurance on it is insane for my age group and...

Installed a new head unit for the Eclipse. Nothing too exciting as I am borrowing it from one of my other cars. Works great and sounds a lot better than the original Infinity head unit.

For the...

Got an update from today on my Eclipse. The P0400 code has been resolved and it turned out to be the stupid EGR Solenoid for the 4th time. Found one of the spares I picked up from the junkyard a...

My other project car: 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT

Hey everyone! I wanted to post the other project car that I've been spending time with for a bit. She's a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT with a 5spd and she's pretty much straight out of the mid-2000s...

As far as I am aware, the ECU is swappable between 95-96, and also between 97-98, otherwise you will get some codes if you switch between a 96 and 98 for example. Trim levels do not matter to a...

I'm back again! More updates (Picture heavy!)

Hey everyone! It's been quite a while since I posted and it's mainly because I was sick. Things are looking better though and I've been able to go to the junkyards quite a few times this past week....

Alright so I know I forgot to post pics of the recent items I got for the I30, but I'll update that post when I do get a chance. Just haven't driven the I30 in a couple days.

No worries, when I...

Yes, the wires for the washer fluid level indicator is taped up nearby. IIRC, all Maxima's and I30's are prewired for this, regardless of trim level. I do not have a picture, but there will be a wire...

Final junkyard adventure for a while.

I swear this is probably the last time I go to the junkyard for a while, I’ve picked up quite a lot this time.

First is headlights and yeah I’m back on OEM ones. Retaining clips on the other one...

Yeah I feel the same way, it's hard to find matching paint codes at the junkyard. I have yet to see a BS3 I30 or even a BT3 I30 so at this point I'd settle for a black one to get the spoiler. I'm not...

Yeah it seems it would most likely in the steering wheel area. I wouldn't think it's a fuse or relay since those would only give power to the horns when the circuit is completed.

I'd recommend...

I would most likely say it is the clock spring and its connection to the wheel/horn. The horn iirc operates when it is shorted to ground and the wiring could be damaged or the clock spring is bad.

Interior Updates

Well, I had to go to the junkyard again after realizing I got the wrong mode door actuator since the one I pulled last time was for 98-99 Maxima and I30. I should’ve taken a picture of mine before...
