Sometimes I have to press the "next track" button 3 or 4 times for it to work. I also noticed that it doesn't work well when I'm making a turn.

I'm not sure the width of the tire will be as much of a factor as the thickness (35) of the tire. I have 245/35-19 and the ride is definitely more rough than with my stock tires/wheels/suspension....

You can't go wrong with 19's. I have 245/35-19 tires. This is probably the most common size you'll see on folks...
