thanks , I will definitely take the cluster apart and check the resistors. I would try that first.

the burning of oil dosent leak anywhere but around the ignition coils I got the spark plug tube...

Ok so switch wasn't clicking in the passenger side, then I took a jumper wire connected the 2 blue wires and the switch illuminates and only illuminates when pressing down the auto down...

Thanks I'll try that. I got a passenger switch and it still didn't work. , went to the junk yard and all the maximas there had the driver side switch gone so maybe that's the issue is from the driver...
