Got it

The studs were actually easy to remove using a E-8 torx style socket.

Unfortunately, now the precat won't move when I try to take it off. Not sure if it's just rusted so bad, or what.

There are 3 "normal" bolts, 2 studs on the "top"...

There are 3 "normal" bolts, 2 studs on the "top" part of the precat. (snapped one of the normal ones)
Then there's 3 bolts on the end going towards the muffler. (snapped one of these as well) :(

Rear Quick Strut installation

Replacing my rear struts with Monroe Quickstruts.
The problem is, one of them will not line up with the "bolt" at the bottom. Seems to be off by a 1/2 inch or so.

Put everything back in, started car...same whirring noise, and stall shortly after.

Low idle?

Regarding my previous post (4 posts above?) with the PCV replacement, MAF cleaning, and TB cleaning...

I was able to get the car to idle (1000 rpms) for a couple minutes, then it went down to 500,...

Brand new to the maintenance thing with my 2000...

Brand new to the maintenance thing with my 2000 Maxima SE, so figured I'd start with replacing the PCV Valve, cleaning the throttle body, and cleaning the MAF.
My original PCV Hose snapped in half...
