I replaced the alternator and the positive...

I replaced the alternator and the positive battery cable terminal. Either one or the other solved that issue.
Now on to fixing the rest of it.

My buttons used to light up. Then I left the controls in the frame as I struggled with the screws holding the stock radio. After some abuse I got them out buy my hvac buttons quit lighting up.

I put cool white LEDs in my instrument cluster. There were instructions on the board here somewhere.
I bought a package of interior and license plate LEDs from someone on the board as well.
