Took the car for a drive from Houston to Bandera Tx and once i returned back home my MPG was reading 50 MPH miles. The trip is roughly 460 miles

I had the Radiator, Thermostat, upper and lower hoses replaced March of last year. I check the coolant level every other week and it’s all good, even the reservoir.
2010 Maxima with 155,000 miles.

Temperature reading up and down

Has anybody have issues with the car temperature fluctuating up and down when on idle. Temperature gauge goes a little above the halfway mark and stays there until i start driving again.
