Well I'm mainly asking because there's a local junkyard around here that only charges $75 for a trans, and I know there's no vg5spds there, but I noticed these transmissions have the same gear sets...

I'm using stock everything, I'm gonna find a t25 or a t28 from the junkyard off a saab or volvo. I won't have it turned up past what they are originally for simple fact that I don't feel like going...

i understand the piping would have to be fabricated and the ecu would have to be tuned,im talking internals,like rods,pistons,cranks,etc. is all that designed different?

Ok, so I got to replace my input shaft bearing and seal, and I really need to know the easiest quickest way to take a trans out. It's a 1990 vg30 5 spd.
