What brand of New starter did u buy. I have had horrible experience with advanced auto with starters and alternators. Few cases with auto zone.

Ya thanks guys. Already figured out they don't make a 98. Gonna post in classifieds thanks. But this ecu just increases rev to 71, 72k rpm. That's not making my trans shift any longer though, right?...

Not a knock sensor bro. It's not hard cleaning the mad, tb, get. Although this seems more like the maf is showing signs of sporadic faulty. Or a dirt iacv. We have problems with mafs with these cars....

Can't find my uni bit. Guess I'll go buy another. I had a code for purge control valve. Wasn't hooked up. Now that that's hooked up don't have a cut valve. Oh well nothing I can do about that. Thanks...

Update. Hooked up vafc to vias. Can see activating at 5k. Thanks. Now if I can fix this idle I can get this thing tuned

Thanks jsutter. What would I do without u. That's what mine was but think I threw it away by accident. And it took forever to drill those 2 holes out with drill bits. Thinking of using 1/4 inch...

I don't even have the vias solenoid connector hooked up. The vafc is on and working. But not sure how to hook up the connector on the solenoid. Maybe u could tell me or a pic of how it's is ran....

yeah. Just wired up the connector for the 5th gen iacv and no codes. I started the 4th gen iacv and block off plate, but didn't have any problems with the 5th gen set set up. Leave those other two...

U have a few choices. U can option to use 5th gen t.b. with 4th gen iacv. I have the adapter to get rid of your iacv and the adapter with 4th gen iacv to hook up. Been successful for people. 35 bucks...
