Its definitely not the brakes breaking in. Mine have been making this noise for several thousand miles. I dont know if its shim design or what, but its nothing to worry about.

I have this exact same noise with the brakes. I looked into this a while back when I first noticed it, and I believe I saw someone state that it was the brake shims. I haven't worried about it...

Are you referring to the exterior door handle buttons that lock and unlock the car? Mine have been working intermittently as well, and I am not sure why.

Thanks for the link Rick Smith. I think that pretty much answers it. It looks like the Nissan Teana is a Maxima for different markets, and it does use a different CVT than the smaller Nissan models.
