when my cv axle went bad it would click LIGHTLY on straight aways and slightly louder on turns. id start there. get a cv with lifetime warranty and if it doesnt fix it just resell the like new axle...

looks mint! enjoy that 5 spd beast. def address the cel before doing cosmetic work. id replace the cel bulb and put in some 194 led lights in the dash while your at it.

Ironic! bought my se from a mechanic as well. He offered to put it on the lift but i declined. he bought it broken needing a clutch, replaced it and flipped it. Just hoping he put gl-4 in it after....

just for a ballpark i paid $1900 usd for my 96 5spd se with 170k. cloth, no bose, power seats, super clean, no body rust. coming up on 10k with her and no problems yet.

206k shes still a baby. ask for maint records check the window sticker see if the oil still has miles before needing change. Also check clarity of coolant and color of ps fluid can give you an idea...

WOW cant believe no one said blow out the damn holes before you remove the plugs,Your coil boot doesn't keep out EVERYTHING and when you removed you plugs, chances are some sand, dirt and other crap...
