Thanks for the help guys. I got it together and it seems to be ok. Hard to really tell since antifreeze is everywhere from taking it apart. I couldn't see anything seeping, though. I will drive it...

Crossover coolant tube leaking

Hey guys,

The crossover tube (if that is what you call it) for the heads is leaking on my car. It is the coolant tube that the top radiator hose goes to. I have taken it apart (not an easy task)...

I have a Harbor Freight jack and it is just a nice as my craftsman unit. In some ways it is better. Mine works smoother than the craftsman in ability to lower slowly.

I would think any of the major names would be ok. It all depends how hard you are on tools. I have a Dewalt cordless drill that has been abused over the years and never misses a beat.

I have the larger Harbor Freight model. It isn't great, but it does more than a good enough job. It always works when I need it, and can fit decent sized parts.

If you have an ampmeter start doing some tests. It sounds like it could be a drain issue. Does it do it if you have only the lights on, or only the radio on, not both? Keep us informed.

What is the stock temp range? The Maxima is the one car I own that I didn't have to change the bulbs, yet. I am waiting for one to go one day. This car has been very good to me over the years.

There are specialty spark plug boot pullers, too. I know I had to use them on the corvette. Sometimes they really get stuck on there.
